Class Objectives
/Class Outline
The aim of this class is to cultivate students' reading skills of long compositions and to instill knowledge of intermediate level grammar, vocabulary and expressions in students.  
Class Schedule By reading through Intermediate Japanese reading skills study materials on various topics, students will learn intermediate level grammar, vocabulary and expressions and through partial compositions will learn new items. In the class, primarily, the following expressions and vocabulary are explained:


1. Orientation, keywords of Japanese culture, te/ta form of verb
2. prefix “o/go”, “~tari~tari”, particle “ne/yo/no/na”, reduplicated word, determiner, “~noda”
3. “~dasu/~hajimeru”, prohibitive expression, “~shi~shi”, pseudo noun “no/koto”
4. particle “hodo”, idiom of “ki”, pseudo noun “uchi/aida/ma”, particle “shika”
5. subsidiary verb “~tekuru/~teiku”, “~yooda/~sooda/rashii~”, verb “afureru/koboreru”
6. verbs of giving and receiving (1), simile/metaphor/personification
7. verbs of giving and receiving (2), adverb “tsui/ukkarishite”,”amari/nakanaka”
8. Mid-term Examination

9. verbs of giving and receiving (3), quantifier+”wa/mo”, prefix “oo/ko”
10. adverb “bakari/dake”, “~toka~toka”, suffix “~chuu/~juu”, intransitive verb
