The course focuses on: (1) understanding of Japanese culture and society by discussing topics in daily life; (2) enriching vocabulary by dealing with various daily scenarios and situations, and (3) developing overall Japanese language skills through various language exercises. 
Class Schedule In this class, students will listen to some Japanese discourse and practice to catch the points below.

3. Contractive expressions
4. Indiscernible pronunciations
5. Skipping over unfamiliar words

Students are expected to check new vocabulary of each lesson for preparation. Students are also expected to review a discourse of each lesson by dictation practice. 
Requirements ・Students who are placed into Level 3 or 4 based on the placement test and not a native speaker of Japanese.
