1) Practice of listening and explanation of Japanese sounds as they appear in movies.
2) Enlarge students' vocabulary by giving explanation about the meaning, and usage of lines by actors.
3) Increase understanding of the behavior patterns of Japanese people.
4) Increase students' knowledge of Japanese culture and society through the topics dealt with in the movies.
 
Class Schedule 1.  Orientation.
2.  Explanation of the customs in Japan and their cultural backgrounds related to “ Go Sunred ” and a quiz will be given.
3.  Watching and giving explanation of vocabulary, grammar and speech sounds of “ Go Sunred ”.

Review
For the questions distributed for each episode, students are required to watch the video, prepare answers and submit them to moodle before class.
Students are encouraged to check the new words and expressions after the class. 
Requirements "Level5" proficiency in Japanese (Authorized by Morito Institute) is required. Students with Level4 proficiency or below may not be able to sit in on the class in any ways. It is possible that registrations are not admitted or canceled depending on the number of the students. 
Grading Method Essay(30%), In-class assignment(50%), Contribution to the class(20%). It is required to attend at least 11 of the classes to have credits.
