Given that many Japanese students join this class, most of the lectures will be in Japanese. Reports can be written in English, and the lecturer will support students in English if needed.

Physical and mental health is important for quality of life. Sports and physical exercises are integral to the prevention and treatment of chronic diseases. It is an essential literacy that we understand the impact of exercises on our physical and mental health and that we obtain practical skills and experiences to enjoy physical activities. 
Expected Outcome1. To be able to scientifically explain the necessity of promoting health and physical strength.
2. To understand and be able to explain, through the practice of sports, the significance of enjoying sports throughout their lives and the importance of good

In this class, students will be expected to learn
- scientific knowledge that exercises are good for your physical and mental health
- practical skills and experiences for enjoying sports and exercises

Lesson 2. Physical exercise practice (PE): Punching/Kick a mitt
Lesson 3. Lecture: considerations for exercises
Lesson 4. PE: Basic punch technique
Lesson 5. Lecture: inactivity-related problems
Lesson 6. PE: Basic kick technique
Lesson 7. Lecture: The effect of exercises on physical and mental health
Lesson 8. PE: Punch combination
Lesson 9. PE: Punch & Kick combination
Lesson 10. Conclusion and discussion

Requirements This class includes physical exercises. Students must prepare clothes and shoes for physical activities. No special gears (gloves, etc.) needed.
