Expected OutcomeStudents will get precise understanding of fuels, combustion technology, and the technical issues as an essential energy source in the modern society. Also, students will deepen our understanding of future possibilities for internal and external combustion engines as heat engines.

Lectures will be given on fossil fuels, biofuels, hydrogen fuel, liquid fuels, combustion and safety of fuels, internal and external combustion engines for automobiles, thermal efficiency and environmental load of combustion systems.  Students understand correctly the above technologies and the status in the modern society.
