Class Objectives
/Class Outline
In this class and Intensive German I, students can learn the vocabulary, expressions and grammar necessary for basic communication in everyday life in German-speaking countries. Together with German II, you can achieve the A1 level of the CEFR set by the Council of Europe and more. We'll also deal with German culture as well as language, and provide opportunities to consider the cultural differences between Japan and Germany.

Review
It is advisable to learn vocabulary independently at your own pace. Also, to keep up with the teaching contents, you have to do your homework regularly. 
Requirements You have to take all following classes: Monday 9/10 (Intensive/Harting), Tuesday 5/6 (Basic/Yoshimitsu), Thursday 5/6 (Basic/Yoshimitsu) and  Friday 9/10 (Intensive/Harting).  
Grading Method Students will be assessed on an overall basis, with approximately 40% of the grade based on ordinary points (e.g. submission of assignments and active participation in class) and 60% based on examinations (e.g. quizzes, mid-term and final examinations).
