Liberal Arts Education To help students understand diversity in society and improve their ability to participate in and contribute to society through engaging in various practical activities.
Expected Outcome In this practicum, you can learn:
１．Social barriers faced by students with disabilities in their academic life,
２．Supportive techniques and skills for improving accessibility in academic settings,
３．Supportive skills such as note-taking (by handwriting, typing, or voice input), guide help (walking assistance, guiding support, wheelchair assistance), translation (text or audio), subtitling, and others,
４．Communication skills such as finger spelling, Japanese sign language (basic daily conversation), clock positions, and others.

Class Objectives
/Class Outline １．The goal is to experientially understand the locations of social barriers to learning related to visual impairment, hearing/language impairment, physical disabilities, internal disabilities, developmental disabilities, mental illness, etc., and to acquire support skills and communication skills such as summary note-taking, guide assistance, braille translation, and Japanese sign language to support the learning of students with disabilities.
２．Overview: Every week, students will attend one session of "Basic Training" where experienced instructors in practical settings directly teach support techniques such as summary note-taking, sign language, guide assistance, and braille translation. Overview: In addition, students will practice on-demand assignments related to understanding disabilities and acquiring support skills through Moodle in "Individual Training."

Requirements 1) There are tasks that require listening and writing (in Japanese).
2) The basic training sessions from Week 3 to Week 7 will be conducted in a hybrid format, with simultaneous interactive (Teams) and face-to-face (Accessibility Center) options available, based on the participants' available time slots (timeslots without other classes).
(Note 1) Classes for periods 1 and 5 will be conducted exclusively via online simultaneous interactive (Teams).
(Note 2) Please make sure to register your available time slots in the first week. Failure to register for available time slots by the deadline may result in not being able to attend the basic skill training sessions from Week 3 to Week 7.
3) If attending via Teams, please ensure that you are in an environment where you can turn on your camera and microphone.
4) Practice A is at the basic level, and Practice B is at the practical level, but you can also take Prctice B without taking A.

Grading Method term report(10%),activity report（80%）,attitude　toward the class(10%)
