Expected Outcome1. To be able to explain the formation and development processes and contemporary issues of each academic discipline.
2. To be able to explain historical and contemporary issues that span multiple academic disciplines from multifaceted perspectives.

The aim of the lecture is to learn and understand normal structure and function of the brain, representative brain disease, treatment of them, brain death state, and plasticity of the brain. It would be very useful for them who are not going to the medical fields. I would like to emphasize the importance of the learning of the basic issues of the brain.

Requirements After confirming of the registration of the course, students who attended higher than 60% of the course CAN ONLY be evaluated.  
Grading Method One topics among the above 13 should be summarized in the report and impression to the whole of the course also should be reported.

Message We accept students who are not only in the field of medicine-related, but also are very interested in the brain. Active participation to the class is highly appreciated.  
Other This course is available both in Higashi-Senda and Higashi-Hiroshima campi. Teachers who are working as medical physicians or surgeons are doing lectures in each special field.
