This course introduces the foundation necessary for the research of information and computer sciences. 
Expected OutcomeIt is important to understand the fundamental skills and knowledge related to information communication as liberal arts education.
e.g., communication, information search, method of gathering information, exchange of information, transmission of information, document preparation, etc.
Then, we'll repeat an exercise to acquire them.

To acquire basic skills and knowledge to use various multi-media information, e.g.,
communication, information search, method of gathering information,  
exchange of information, transmission of information, document preparation, etc. by using PC operation

 
Class Schedule Using the computer in information media center, we'll discuss the fundamental structure of computer and communication network and repeat an exercise for one or two weeks. Moreover, I'll lecture the multi-media systems related to storing and management of information.
