2. To be able to understand many languages and cultures by using multiple foreign languages. 
Class Objectives
/Class Outline
Following the previous term, enhance communication abilities in the Spanish language by acquiring reading, writing, listening and speaking skills equally through learning pronunciation, basic grammatical items, and simple conversational expressions. Accustom and familiarize students with the histories, cultures and lifestyle habits in Hispanic regions such as Spain, Latin America and Caribbean areas. 
Class Schedule [1] Review of the last term.
[2]-[8] Verb conjugation (past]: regular, irregular), infinitive and negative, important sentence structure (advanced), conversational phrases.
[9]-[15] Verb conjugation (past: imperfect, preterite), important sentence structure (advanced), conversational phrases.

Review
Prior to the class: Consult a dictionary for unknown words. Read the textbook over and over. Read Spanish sentences aloud. Answer practice exercises.
After the class: Review words, important phrases and structures that are targeted in class. Re-read the textbook. Read the sentences aloud again.
 
Requirements Take both of two classes each week. Do not skip either of the classes. 
Grading Method Exams (approximately 60-90%)
Participation to the class (approximately 40-10%)
