Grading Method |
In planning classes and evaluating students, the following items should be taken into account:
(1) Content and Speaker Intention Students should be able to: 1. Understand the content of a variety of discourse types; 2. Understand the intentions of speakers.
(2) Appropriacy of Response Students should be able to respond effectively to a wide variety of questions and statements used in everyday life.
(3) Grammar,Vocabulary and Phonology Students should attain sufficient lexical, grammatical and phonological knowledge in order to comprehend spoken language in the situations such as those listed under “Contents” of the syllabus.
(4) Attitude Students should: 1. Demonstrate a positive attitude towards communication activities; 2. Endeavor to overcome any breakdowns in communication that may occur. |
