The fundamental technologies which support the cloud infrastructure include networking, computing, distributed systems, and operation management. In this lecture, we will give an overview of the basic configuration of the cloud infrastructure and promote understanding through exercises. We will also consider the significance of cloud computing and its future development based on recent service trends and operational examples.
