Class Objectives
/Class Outline
This course is one of the French Intensive Courses, which aims to have students learn French intensively. The French Intensive Courses consist of four individual courses, which are provided by four respective instructors once a week and are linked to each other. This course is linked to the following three courses: “Intermediate Level Seminar in Integrated French 1A” (5th/6th periods on Wednesday), “Intermediate Course in French Language1” (9th/10th periods on Thursday), "Intermediate Level Seminar in Integrated French 1B" (3rd/4th periods on Friday). Classes are conducted in a systematic manner with the use of video materials, which were developed to allow effective acquisition of comprehensive French proficiency.  
Class Schedule Lesson 1 &2: Review of what was learned in the 1st year
Lesson 3 & 4: Irregular verbs
Lesson 5 & 6: Understanding of direct and indirect objects
Lesson 7 & 8: How pronouns are used as direct or indirect objects
Lesson 9 & 10: Expressions for giving opinions and comments
Lesson 11 & 12: Articles
Lesson 13 & 14: Pronoun “en” in association with other pronouns
Lesson 15 & 16: Expressions of quantities

Students are required to review each class, reading the textbook. 
Grading Method Evaluation is made on the basis of a regular examination, mini tests, and reports (approximately 80%) and the mark given for class participation (approximately 20%).
