/Class Outline
The lecture consists of; biology and ecology of various microalgae (phytoplankton), macroalgae and zooplankton, especially focusing on the species of ecologically and economically importance. These organisms are also foundation of all ecosystems, so recent environmental changes that have caused ecosystem deteriorations will be discussed.
