Class Objectives
/Class Outline
This course is focusing on “International Research and Study”, in particular, “Engineering”. The program gives chances of real experience in overseas, by which the participants will grow to competitive global engineers.
This program consists of 1) Preliminary Training, 2) International Research and Study and 3) Follow-up Training.
The students have to make a report and presentation at the end of semester. 
Class Schedule 1.Preliminary Training (Basically, Apr. Aug.)
English training (lecture and computer based one, designated by the program)
Lecture for security in abroad
Preliminary study for local culture before the dispatch
2.International Research and Study (for 2 weeks)
Research presentation and discussion with local students in English there.
Research in labs of the dispatched university and factory tours in the dispatched area.
3.Follow-up Training (Basically, Oct.-Mar.)
Report for the research and study done in foreign country just after returning to Japan.
Presentation in conclusive meeting with attendance of professors.

Every literature or reports related to designated training/research theme is worth to be studied. In addition, annual reports of this program (written by senior ex-members), books on technology transfer, Japanese production system and its internationalization are also helpful.

Intensive preliminary study by oneself must be required. 
Requirements This course is for students with basic background regarding engineering. 
Grading Method Score of the program is decided by the preliminary training (30%), I International Research and Study and its report (30%) , and reports and presentations in follow-up training (40%)
