Class Objectives
/Class Outline
This class give lectures concerning the mechanical properties and its strength mechanisms of cast iron, verious non-ferrous metals, plastics, ceramics and composite materials which are used for various machines and structures.
You can learn following subjects;
(1) Basical knowlege of variou materilas which are used various machine.(B)
(2) Ability for materials selection in mechnical design.(B) 
Class Schedule Lesson1  Evaluation methods of mechanical properties of materials, Introduction of dislocation and strengthening mechanisms of metal (solution hardening, precipitation hardening)
Lesson2   Strengthening mechanisms of metal (particle dispersive hardening, work hardening, hardening by fine grain)
Lesson3   Classification of cast irons and its microstructures, cast properties and mechanical properties of cast iron
Lesson4   Characteristic of cast iron
Lesson5   Microstructure and mechanical properties of copper alloys
Lesson6   Microstructure and mechanical properties of aluminum alloys
Lesson7   Microstructure and mechanical properties of magnesium and titanium alloys
