Class Objectives
/Class Outline
Students are required to do experiments and measurements related to mechanical engineering field. Through experiments students are supposed to learn further about mechanical engineering and improve skills in data processing, data analysis, and report writing.
Class Schedule Students are divided into groups (usually 10 persons / group) and do experiments as following a prearranged schedule.
0:  Safety education
1-1: Surface roughness of steel on machining
1-2: Analysis of gearProcessing and heat treatment of steel and aluminum
2-1: Processing and heat treatment of steel and aluminum
2-2: Tensile test
3-1: Measurement of statistical fluctuation by radiation measurement
3-2: Measurement of turbulent jet and its flow characteristics
