Suggestions on Preparation and Review |
Read handout and textbook Review anatomy and histology relating tissue and organ to know normal histological structure. Please bring an atlas in the practice. |
Requirements |
To understand histopathological changes, it is essential to know the normal tissue structure, so please review anatomy and histology thoroughly. A preparatory assignment will be given for each lesson and must be submitted in advance. Coloured pencils will be used for sketching, so be sure to bring your own. An atlas is also required for practical training. |
Grading Method |
Failure to participate in all practical training will disqualify you from taking the exam (including follow-up and special exams). The submitted sketches will be checked and used for daily evaluation. After the completion of all practical training hours (1 and 2 terms), students will be evaluated on a practical examination (80%) of the content of the practical training lecture, which will be combined with the daily evaluation (20%). A written examination (100%) will also be given for the lectures, and separate examinations will be given for the lectures and practical training, with a score of 60 points or higher for each. |
