Class Objectives
/Class Outline
This course is designed for undergraduate students to increase the health English, develop communication skills and describe the effective approaches to prepare the research activities. In addition, this course enhances students to have interests to go and study abroad.  We will instruct the way of going to abroad and study.

Purposes/Goals:
1 Increase the number of nursing students who study overseas for short-term trip
2 Increase the number of nursing students who study overseas for long-term such as one semester or obtain credits from universites of overseas, or clinical practice overseas (including internship of international organizations)
3 Increase the number of nursing students who officially study aboroad (get into graduate schools and obtain degrees)

Preparation and
Review
Students are requested to go through the textbook, visit the relevant website and journals. They are also encouraged to have the basic preparation on the scheduled topic and pick up some difficult points for discussion. 
Requirements Basic English ability is accepted (no standard test scores are requested). 
Grading Method Test performance: 40%, classroom attitude and discussion: 60% 
Practical Experience Experienced  
Summary of Practical Experience and Class Contents based on it Instructors with practical experience in WHO, the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare and overseas will give lectures with their experiences and overseas circumstances. 
Message It is necessary to increase the English communication level for better education, research, job, and global development. Students are encouraged to do more practice and improve English communication skill.
