lesson1 introductory talk lesson2 deals with stereo isomers including enantiomer, rotamer, and conformer. Symmetry and optical property of a molecule are described. Cahn-Ingold-Prelog priority rules are illustrated. lesson3 deals with axial chirality, planar chirality, and helicity of a molecule. Optical resolution of racemic mixtures, and racemic compounds are described. lesson4 deals with optical resolution. lesson5 deals with asymmetric induction and transition state model. lesson6 deals with asymmetric synthesis. lesson7 deals with conformational characteristics of acyclic alkanes. lesson8 deals with conformational characteristics of cyclic alkanes.
