Africa with the population of 1 billion is achieving a rapid economic development and changing fast.  This lecture covers sub-Saharan Africa and examines the issues of African politics by viewing the dynamic political trends of African countries at the country, regional and international levels.  Attempts will be made to develop a comparative perspective to understand the political, economic and social movement in holistic terms.
