Class Objectives /Class Outline |
This course aims to provide an understanding of the overall structure of Civil Code, focusing primarily on the first half of the general provisions of Civil Code, and to acquire basic knowledge in this area. Additionally, through the organization and examination of recent case law and legal theories, the course aims to develop a certain ability to address practical and specific problems. |

Basic Principles of Civil Law, Exercise of Private Rights and Their Limitations Session 4. Subjects of Rights and Obligations, Overview of Protection for Those with Limited Capacity to Act Session 5. Adult Guardianship System, Protection for the Counterparties of Those with Limited Capacity to Act Session 6. Materials used during lectures will be distributed through "Momiji", so please prepare in advance. For the lectures, prepare a notebook for taking notes, the designated textbook, distributed materials, and the Codes (including the Civil Code table of contents). |

For preparation, please read the relevant sections in the textbooks and reference books listed. For review, there will be comprehension surveys and assignments submitted after each lecture. |
Requirements |
It is mandatory to bring the designated textbook and the Codes to the lectures. Use the Codes that include the table of contents of the Civil Code. Note-taking is fundamental, so prepare a notebook specifically for this course. It is advisable to take this course in conjunction with General Provisions of the Civil Code 2. |
Grading Method |
Final Exam: 90%, Review Assignments: 10% If you are unable to take the final exam, a makeup exam will be conducted, so be sure to follow the necessary procedures within the school. |
