In addition to the Advanced Laboratory Project in Cognitive Psychology II, This class aims to teach how to find specific research topics from daily life. Students are expected to learn knowledge and skills which are essential to work on a graduate thesis.

Class Objectives

In this course students acquire the practical skill and ability to form the specific study of cognitive psychology through presentation and discussion on the several problems and its way of solving in the area of cognitive psychology. The cognitive psychology project studyⅠemphasizes on the process of research planning. In the class students make and consider several reports in the area of cognitive psychology. The examination targets are theses published in journals, researches conducted by teachers or graduate students, researches on themes students themselves have interests in. To report studies requires retrieval and collection of documents. Through the report of their studies, students learn the practical way of retrieval and collection of documents, procedure and completion of their study, and presentation.

Review
In this lesson, the activity after the lecture hour is important. The review of the previous lectures, practical training and exercises are required. I recommend avid gain of the information which you did not learned or you will need in future by communicating with the teachers and graduate students not only in a laboratory you belong to. In addition, the learning effect on you increases remarkably by participating and supporting the study that teachers and graduate students perform. 
Requirements Limited to students who have taken Introductory Psychology Laboratory Project I and II.
Required to have knowledge and interests on Cognitive Psychology, knowledge and skills on the methods in psychological research, and eagerness and positive attitude to tackle a problem.
