This class aims to acquire music theory, which is indispensable for practicing middle and high school music classes, and is located at the basic stage in the program.

This class will comprehensively explain the various forms used in Western music, as well as chords and customary progression.  
Class Schedule lesson 01 :Binary form, ternary form
lesson 02 :Composite ternary form
lesson 03 :Rondo, Variations
lesson 04 :Sonata form(1)(Analysis of Sonatine)
lesson 05 :Sonata form (2) (large-scale music)
lesson 06 :Counterpoint works (canon, fugue, etc.)
lesson 07 :Applied practice (trends by genre, analysis of composer's personal style, etc.)
lesson 08 :Summary of genus chords, Ⅱ7 ・ Ⅳ7 chords
Lesson 09 : Borrowed chords
Lesson 10 : Doppel Dominant Supplement
Lesson 11 : Naples II, Doria IV, etc.
Lesson 12 : Sequence, upward displacement, even chords, etc.

Preparation: It is desirable to read textbooks and reference books in advance to prepare for class.
Review: Double-check the lesson content so that you don't have any doubts.  
Requirements Those who use the music notation software "Musescore" should download it (free of charge) and check the basic operation method.  
Grading Method "Term-end examination is implemented (in total 100 points). If you have bad participation, the point will be reduced. The evaluation benchmarks are as follows:
100~90 points: Superior, 89~80 points: Excellent, 79~70 points: Good, 69~60 points: Fair, 59 or below: Failed, ―2 points/Absence, ―1 point/Tardiness & Early leaving, ―1 point/Skipping submission of assignment (unless it's really necessary such as permitted absence), 5 absences and more are treated as ""Absence"" in grading."
