This course is designed to introduce various techniques and ideas in teaching four skills and fundamental knowledge of Japanese language for communicative use, and allows students to practice, analyze, and evaluate different instructional techniques. |

1. Orientation (face-to-face) 2. How to write a Japanese language teaching plan (face-to-face) 3. Lecture: pronunciation instruction (on demand) 4. Exercise: pronunciation instruction (face-to-face) 5. Lecture: Vocabulary Instruction (on demand) 6. Exercise: vocabulary instruction (face-to-face) 7. Lecture: Reading Comprehension Instruction (On Demand) 8. Exercise: reading comprehension (face-to-face) 9. Lecture: Listening Comprehension Instruction (On Demand) 10. Exercises: listening comprehension (face-to-face) 11. Lecture: Grammar Instruction (On Demand) 12. Exercises: Grammar Instruction (face-to-face) 13. Lecture: Conversation Instruction (On Demand) 14. Exercises: conversation instruction (face-to-face) 15. Japanese language instruction according to learners' needs (2nd session/face-to-face)
For each language item and skill, comprehension questions from the lecture and assignments related to instruction are to be submitted in the prescribed manner.
Videos and assignments for the on-demand lectures in the 1st and 2nd periods will be presented on moodle before the class time. You must work on those on-demand assignments before the exercise session. Assignments for the 3rd and 4th period face-to-face lectures will be presented using moodle. |
