Suggestions on Preparation and Review |
You should read 1 case of the text before every class and the resume and related materials after it, in order to understand the legal system step by step." You should read the judgement first of all. In some chapters, it may be better for you to read its explanation earlier than judgement itself. Though many people make a mistake, our aim is not to memorize the articles of laws, so, please do never misunderstand. We request you to understand mechanism of legal system, which means various legal systems and total image or idea which connect those systems each other, and to acquire the base of jurisprudence thinking method, which is so-called Legal Mind. We will show points in a lecture, you should understand them, and then, you will be admired sometime by others like, "You know laws!" On the other hand, you will know that most people live by utilizing unreasonable prejudice, which is sometimes called common sense. |

Message |
Can you write about social disputes and their legal resolution? Can you answer the sudden question, "what is a law?", right then? This course is maybe a class which you can't catch up if you don't read through materials of the text and check unknown points by yourself before attending. By the way, I guess that it's normal in college in the USA. By the way, you can't bring any foods or beverages in a class room. (Class-1 health officer. It sounds like an announcement before departure of Hanshin bus.) |
