The purpose of this course is for students to acquire abilities to analyze school education activities of each of the fields of science education in an appropriate manner, and to develop and implement a unit teaching plan. |

Lesson1: Orientation
Lesson2: Theories of Science Lessons (1) The instructor will explain an overview of the Course of Study for Science and key points in making a lesson plan.
Lesson3: Theories of Science Lessons (2) The instructor will explain how to write a lesson plan.
Lesson4: Theories of Science Lessons (3) The instructor will explain how to write a lesson plan.
Lesson5: Theories of Science Lessons (3) The instructor will explain the meaning of trial lessons and how to give a trial lesson.
Lesson6: Experimental Lesson (1) Students will write a lesson plan and give a trial lesson of junior high school Science Area1. After the lesson, there will be a review meeting. After the review meeting, the instructor will correct the lesson plan and comment on the trial lesson.
Lesson7: Experimental Lesson (2) Students will write a lesson plan and give a trial lesson of junior high school Science Area1. After the lesson, there will be a review meeting. After the review meeting, the instructor will correct the lesson plan and comment on the trial lesson.

Students are required to make a lesson plan in a group and submit a report after giving the trial lesson.
As this course is an intensive course, attendance is important. |
