Class Objectives
/Class Outline To learn the basics of piano performance and singing to one’s own performance so as to become able to teach those yourself.

Class Schedule Lesson 1: Orientation
Lesson 2: Practice of reading music sheet, piano performance, accompaniment, and singing tailored to individual learning goals (focusing on posture, body, hands, and fingers)
Lesson 3: Practice of reading music sheet, piano performance, accompaniment, and singing tailored to individual learning goals (focusing on daily practice methods)
Lesson 4: Practice of reading music sheet, piano performance, accompaniment, and singing tailored to individual learning goals (focusing on reading music)
Lesson 5: Practice of reading music sheet, piano performance, accompaniment, and singing tailored to individual learning goals (focusing on improvisation based on specific conditions)
Lesson 6: Production of performance videos and their feedback 1
Lesson 7: Practice of reading music sheet, piano performance, accompaniment, and singing tailored to individual learning goals (focusing on accompaniment based on chords)

Requirements Since there are a number to students who hope to take this course, this course is open only to those who wish to be an elementary school teacher.
Make sure to take this course if you wish to become an elementary school　teacher but have no experience of playing the piano.
The students will be divided into classes based on "Class wake no tame no chosa-hyo". Student affairs office will register for this course after the announcement of the classes is made.

Grading Method Students will be evaluated comprehensively based on commitment to daily assignments （30％）and practical exams（70％）.

Summary of Practical Experience and Class Contents based on it A teacher who has experience teaching in elementary school instructs performances of the piano and singing.

Message Your own ingenuity and constant efforts are required in this course. Exercise your ingenuity and do effective practice continuously.
