Lesson3: School system and educational management ( Chapter 2)

Lesson4:School attendance and management of young children.（Chapter 3)

Lesson5: HR management of teachers（Chapter 4)

Lesson6: Teaching contents and curricula（Chapter 5)

Lesson7: School organizational theory(Chapter6)

Lesson8: Class and grade organizational theory（Chapter 7）

Lesson9: Growth and training of teachers（Chapter8）

Lesson10: School evaluation and improvement（Chapter9）

Lesson11: Social education, life-long learning and schools（Chapter10）

Lesson12: Schools and Home, Collaboration with local communities（Chapter11）

Suggestions on
Preparation and
Review Information on preparation and review of the lessons will be uploaded to MOMIJI.
Handout materials used at every lesson will be uploaded to MOMIJI in principle.
A comment material that shows questions and comments written in submitted comment sheets will be distributed to students in the following lesson in principle, so that students can utilize it for reviewing the previous lesson.

Requirements Specialized subject for teacher education. Lateness and early leaving will not be tolerated.

Grading Method Students will be evaluated based on exams (80%), mini reports(10%), and contribution in class and comment sheets(10%). If students are absent for 4 times or more, they will not be allowed to take a final exam.

Practical Experience

Summary of Practical Experience and Class Contents based on it

Message Students are required to submit a comment sheet in every lesson. This sheet will be used for checking students’ attendance, reflecting on the learning contents, and writing students’ questions and comments.

Other The course outline will be distributed in the first lesson.
