The texts will be used both as examples of creative writing and as a focus for critical discussion. Students will be asked to discuss questions about the texts during the classes, and to prepare and hand in short essays about the texts studied, or short stories illustrating the development of themes and characters and the imaginative and idiomatic use of English.
