Class Objectives /Class Outline |
This class aims to acquire the skills to read English texts on modern British history and the basic knowledge of British modern history. In the first session of each class, one of the students will present a summary of an English article or book chapter, which will be discussed by the entire class. If the number of students is not many, students can choose a Japanese article for their second presentation. In the second half of each class, the instructor will give a short lecture on the basics of modern British history, followed by questions and answers. |
