By the end of this course, students should be able to
1. Describe the outline of the statistic methods used in Psychology
2. Understand and use the basic mothods of statistics, and be able to interplet the data.
This class provides students with the opportunity to learn basic skills and understandings for statistic methods used in
Class Schedule Lesson 1:Orientation and review of Statistical Methods in Psychological Research I
Lesson 2:ANOVA, Kruskal-Wallis test
Lesson 3:Multiple comparisons, one-way ANOVA, Friedman's test
Lesson 4:two-way ANOVA, main effects, and interactions
Lesson 5: Three-way ANOVA
Lesson 6:Supplemental explanation about the inferential statistics
Lesson 7: Relationship between two variables(1):scatter diagram and correlation coefficient
Lesson 8: Relationship between two variables (2): rank correlation and coefficient of association
Lesson 9: Relationship between two variables (3): regression analysis
Lesson 10: Multivariate analysis (1): Partial correlation, multiple regression analysis
Lesson 11: Multivariate analysis (2): covariance analysis, multilevel analysis
