This is a 2-credit compulsory seminar for Liberal Arts Education.  
The seminar is designed to enhance mutual understanding and communication among students and teaching staff, to make good learning groups, and to provide opportunities to enjoy learning in a direct and practical manner as a way of introduction to university education.

The seminar is aimed for nurturing the abilities to think theoretically and critically our problems on humanities of both today and yesterday, and to express ourselves freely and properly.
In relation to “Introduction to University Education”, the seminar will enable students to acquire and foster:
1. active learning and studying at university
2. creative thinking skills
3. methods for collecting original resources and documents
4. theoretical and critical thinking abilities
5. reading, writing, presenting, and debating abilities
6. social morals and decorum

Requirements This seminar is to be held in 9-10 periods every Wednesday in the 1st and 2nd Terms. Note that you should not take other classes in these periods. 
Grading Method The following are highly considered in an evaluation for the seminar:

3. creative thinking and understanding for problems
4. collecting original resources and documents
5. theoretical presentation
6. answering questions clearly and properly
