This course is designed around seminars for monitoring research progress. A brief lecture on the various aspects of academic research will be incorporated in the seminars to assist the academic growth of the students. The lectures will be followed by progress reports and peer reviews or feedback.

This course will introduce the students to key components and processes of academic research, from creating a research plan to research dissemination. Each meeting will consist of lectures, progress reports, and peer review or feedback. By the end of this course, students will have advanced understanding of academic research and be equipped with the research and writing skills necessary to undertake a research project.
