/Class Outline
The goals of this course are to obtain new knowledge concerning mechanisms of general anesthetic action and pharmacological effects of sedative drugs, to understand recent research trends, and to enhance the presentation and discussion skills. To gather new information, and to summarize and present it will be useful in accomplishing this. 
Class Schedule Each student reviews a current research article in the field of mechanisms of general anesthetic action and pharmacological effects of sedative drugs and discusses its contents with the participants. Students are also required to participate the laboratory meeting.
