Understand the innovative methods and approaches in order to play an active role in the diverse field of society. Based on real problems companies face, students are expected to collaborate with others and gather ideas/knowledge/skills from different fields to tackle the issues.

Please prepare your one-minute presentation on your research including self-promotion (in PowerPoint). Submit your presentation to Prof. Makino (emakino@hiroshima-u.ac.jp) by one day before the first class. 
Requirements  
Grading Method To be evaluated based on class contribution (20%), final presentation (40%) and report (40%).

Summary of Practical Experience and Class Contents based on it Industry experience: Business and economics reporter covering many startups and corporate executives in the US. Business development for a Japanese subsidiary in the US. Conference interpreter for high-level business negotiations and meetings in various industries.
