This lecture is conducted in Japanese. The historical developments of 
electlic technology, the nuclear power technology, the information technology in the modern society from the Industrial Revolution to the present days are to be discussed. For more informatiion on this lecture, see the Japanese syllabus.
 
Class Schedule lesson1: Guidance.

lesson2: "The Great DC-AC Dibate" and the electric power system.
          Thermal power generation and the environmental issues.
lesson3:  Atomic energy and the atomic bomb.
          "Manhattan Project" in its reality.
lesson4: The development of nuclear power generation in the USA.
         The introduction and development of nuclear power technology in Japan.
lesson5: The development of nuclear power generation in the former Soviet union.
         The birth and development of telegram.
lesson6: The telephone, the wireless communication and Molconi & his company.
         From the vacuum tube to transister.
lesson7: IC and "High-tech Pollution."
