Internship is the practical training that is implemented through organizations/institutions involved international cooperation in Japan and/or other countries for the purpose of achieving the educational objectives of the graduate schoo1. It is carried out on the basis of the Internship Implementation Plan prepared by the student according to the program provided by the implementing organization/institution (which includes information such as the implementing organization, location, period, description of the training, supervisor at the organization/institution, contact information, academic advisor’s signature, etc.). The period of Internship MUST be two weeks or longer (at least 60 hours of actual working). The IDEC Academic Affairs Committee will certify credits.

Preparation and
After consultation with academic advisor, trainees must aquire sufficient information, in advance, about the organizations/institutions, etc. 
Requirements Only once, students can earn 2 credits. Under the academic advisor’s guidance, students MUST submit a written Internship Implementation Plan by the prescribed form to the Student Support Group, in principle, at least 2 weeks prior to the start of training.
Upon completion, students who wish to be conferred credit must submit a training report along with both completion certificate issued by the organization/institution and an observation/assessment of his/her academic advisor to Student Support Group within 1 month after the end of the internship. Completion certificate MUST be the original. Certificates provided by a photocopy or PDF file are not processed by the IDEC Academic Affairs Committee. 
Grading Method The IDEC Academic Affairs Committee will certify credits, based on the (submitted) training report, completion certificate issued by the organization/institution, and observation/assessment of academic advisor.

Other Chairperson of the IDEC Academic Affairs Committee is to take the place of instructor.
