/Class Outline
This class is a necessary subject for obtaining a license for industrial education staff, and aims to improve the qualifications of those who aim for a teaching profession. We will outline vocational guidance to support vocational selection and career selection at a specialized high school from both theoretical and practical perspectives, and learn how to conduct vocational counseling and interviews to guide students as teachers.In addition, we will outline the high school curriculum guidelines and subjects related to industrial departments, and give a bird's-eye view of the history of vocational guidance in Japan from laws, government ordinances, rules, notifications, reports, etc.
Provide overviews of High School Educational Guidelines and subjects related to engineering field as well as views of current situations of high school education.

Preparation and
Read the handouts given in class, and think how to guide your students as a teacher every time. The habit will help developing your skills to be an expected teacher.
This class might confuse you because it is lecture style, based on writing and reading; however, please attend the class with new mindset.
Requirements Intensive classes during summer holiday are planned. 
Grading Method Evaluate at the rate of reports (60%) and trials (40%).

Practical Experience Experienced  
Summary of Practical Experience and Class Contents based on it The lecturer has experience in the academic affairs department in the general course of high schools and the career guidance department in vocational high schools. And from those experiences, in this class, we can consider about the curriculum and the way of thinking of career guidance based on the government course guidelines, and the practice of career guidance in high schools.
