The subjects of this lecture are air environment and acoustic environment. These were two of the main physical elements of architectural environment. The basic matter of air flow, ventilation, wind environment, physical attributes of sound, sound propagation, room acoustics, noise and vibration are explained in this lecture. Students learn the basic knowledge for planning indoor and outdoor environment. Also, students are able to know the techniques for environmental consideration in architectural planning.

Suggestions on
Preparation and
Preparations and reviews are necessary to understand the contents sufficiently. Especially, without preparations, it is not able to distinguish the contents reported in the textbook from the contents not reported and to fill in a note efficiently.
Additionally, students have to answer the exercise question set in every lesson in themselves, for understanding the background theory.
Students can ask questions by a mini report after every lesson and get the answer and/or explanation in next lesson.    
Grading Method The grade consists of mid-term examination(40%), final examination(40%) and exercise question(20%).
