The objective of this class is understanding fundamental concepts in hydraulics through the exercises of open channel flow and pipe flow problems. 
Class Schedule lesson1 Hydrostatic pressure distribution
lesson2 Momentum conservation law and energy conservation law
lesson3 Specific energy, critical water depth, super- and sub-critical flows
lesson4 Critical water depth for general cross-section, Froude number and water profile of flow on channel with different bed slope
lesson5 Hydraulic jump
lesson6 Water profile of flow of varied width channel
lesson7 Bernoulli's theorem
lesson8 Equation for uniform flow velocity
lesson9 Uniform flow, critical flow and critical channel slope
lesson10 Flow on wide channel
lesson11 Narrow width channel flow
lesson12 Velocity of uniform flow in pipe flow
lesson13 Flow in single pipe system

Lessons 1, 2, 7: Review the concept of hydrostatic pressure and momentum and energy conservation law.
Lessons 3 to 6, 8 to 11: Each lesson interrelates, so keep in mind to understand not only each concept but also relation to others.
Lessons 12 to 15: Learn about pipe flow. Pay attention to common and different characteristics of pipe flow and open channel flow.
