At facilities for dental techniques (dental technicians’ office and dental technique room in hospitals), metal prostheses (crown, bridge, and denture) are manually produced individually by the metal casting technique using the lost wax method in which wax patterns are prepared, embedded and casted. The theory, techniques and problems of the metal casting procedure by the lost wax method commonly used in clinical settings will be learned through practices.
