5. Teaching of ' Singing'  and ideas for lessons
6. Teaching of 'viewing' and ideas for lessons
7. Teaching of recorder(focusing around fingering)
8. Teaching of recorder ( focusing on the sound and tonguing)
9. Teaching of ' instrument' and lesson ideas
10. Teaching of music composition and lesson ideas
11. The creation of a teaching plan
12 Trial lesson for early elementary school students
13 Trial lesson for middle elementary school students
14 Trial lesson for late elementary school students

Hiroshi Nagayama, the Teaching Fellow(TF) of the class, will advise how to plan the lessons and make teaching materials.

Students are required to bring a soprano recorders ( Information for purchasing a recorder will be provided for those who does not have one.)

"Lesson1: Understand the objectives of music lessons for elementary schools based on the curriculum guideline.
Lesson2-4: Lean the contents and specific teaching methods of music lessons for elementary schools in consideration of children’s development stages.
Lesson5,6,9, & 10: Understand realization of teaching items and contents explained in the curriculum guideline, and learn specific lesson ideas of each field with actual teaching materials.
Lesson7&8: Learn how to play the recorder. Review and practice thoroughly.
Lesson11: Understand how to make a teaching plan and make a concept of a trial lesson.
Lesson12-14: Study through in a group for trial lessons and conduct a meeting for review after trial lessons.
Lesson15: Summary

Grading Method Students will be evaluated comprehensively based on class participation, presentations, submitted assignments, exams, and others.

Summary of Practical Experience and Class Contents based on it The teacher who taught in the elementary school serves the practical contents.
