Class Objectives
/Class Outline
In nuclear disasters, there are perpetrators and victims. While the perpetrators have tried hide the health effects of radiation exposure, the victims have fought to reveal the health effects and obtain compensation. In this class, we will focus on the scientific activities regarding such health effects and examine the difficulty of scientific research on human beings, their ethical issues, and the relationship between science and politics on compensation, which is still an ongoing issue.
