・Based on basic knowledge which is already acquired, to obtain the following experimental skills in order to practice research: 1) Basic observation skills and skills to manage experiments. 2) Ability to record observed natural phenomena. 3) Ability to collect and assess data.

We expect the students to analyze and study the contents of the course and to be able to construct a practice plan.  All the attendants take one of several courses related to regional and social contribution activities with elementary schools, junior high schools, and high schools, conducted at the marine lab to experience the collection of marine organisms and observation and classification of marine organisms with students and learn the method of marine biological education.  They also study instructive points of the course and safety management in shore.

All students are expected to read general books on biodiversity and illustrated books on marine organisms prior to the practice.  
Requirements The students with any kind of allergy and/or idiosyncrasy must inform us in advance. 
Grading Method A grading will be given by evaluating practical attitude and report, comprehensively.

Message The course will be held at the marine lab located at Mukaishima-cho, Onomichi city. The course will be limited to 20 participants.  You will be responsible for the cost of your transportation and food.
