Information infrastructures, i.e., the Internet and smart devices, have become a part of modern life, and are supported by the remarkable development of computers and information communication technologies.   In this class, we discuss the fundamental technologies promoting such a changing society.   In particular, we discuss computer network protocols, architecture, and their applications. Summary of Practical Experience and Class Contents based on it AIBARA Reiji (from January 1994 to present) and KONDO Tohru (from June 2006 to present) were engaged in the management and operation of campus networks and computer systems at Hiroshima University. Lecturers give the lecture utilizing their work experience.
