This course covers phonetics/phonology, graphemics, morphology, syntax, semantics, pragmatics, discourse analysis, rhetoric, stylistics, literary theory, and sociolinguistics, deepening the knowledge on English communication as well as the structures and functions of English language. Based on these understanding, this course analyzes current ELT materials and discusses better materials construction. More specifically, this course analyzes textbooks and their supplementary materials. Students are required to designs teaching materials and worksheets by themselves, too.

Requirements You need basic knowledge about English linguistics, English grammar, and ELT to follow this course.
