Based on the theme of exploratory learning activities incorporating field surveys in the science of secondary education (geological sciences), the purpose, materials and contents, and the logic of learning development are discussed based on domestic and international research and practice cases. In addition, foster practical skills to create effective outdoor learning activities through the development of learning programs. Participants select learning themes individually or as a group, and plan and draft outdoor learning activities according to the assumed learning stages and learning situations. By simulating and analyzing the learning activities, the significance and usefulness of the learning activities in the field are objectively evaluated. Through this class, we aim to acquire guidelines and practical skills for designing effective learning activities using the outdoors as a learning space. This course deals with the design of exploratory learning activities that incorporate geological surveys, experiments and observations in the field, with a focus on learning about the geology of the area. In particular, give guidance mainly on contents related to earth science.
