【More Details】
This course expects students to acquire nurse practitioner's skills and way of thinking through clinical training, as well as to acquire advanced nursing practice skills for chronic disease patients.
This course is concurrent lectures paralleled to Clinical Practicum 1 and 2. So students learn in class and practice them at clinical sites. Based on evidence-based clinical guidelines, experienced CNSs and specialist physicians will lecture those issues.

<Course Description>
Students will practically acquire skills of comprehensive health assessment including physio-psychosocial assessment, needs assessment to utilize social resources, and advanced nursing intervention skills through clinical training.
<Objectives>
Upon completion of the course the students will be able to;
1. Practice complete health assessment of people with chronic illness and provide problem-solving.
2. Practice diagnostic procedure and learn medical/pharmacological treatments of frequently faced chronic diseases in each body system. Need to memorize diagnostic and treatment criteria.
3. Practice psychosocial assessment of people with chronic diseases.
4. Practice nursing case management on people with chronic diseases with complicated needs.
