Class Objectives /Class Outline |
Students will learn to promote health of the society (rather than individuals) through public health efforts. We will discuss the underlying concept of justice behind health and longevity. We will provide comprehensive ways (e.g., prevention, epidemiological, and policy building perspectives) to promote health in society and communities. We will also demonstrate political and economical perspectives related to health and medicine in medicine, pharmacology, and dentistry to help students understand histories of certain policies and systems. |
